CAN8 allows instructors to author lessons, practice exercises, and assessment units.  Students can record themselves and practice pronunciation.  Instructors can access lessons through CAN8 remotely.  It completely eliminates work with cumbersome audiotapes.

    About CAN8
    In order to listen to your class audio materials on your home computer, you must first download the CAN8 software client.

    CAN8 Software Download
    You can do this  by clicking on the link below. The file size is approximately 16M Bytes. Once the installation package has been downloaded it may be installed by double-clicking on it if it did not auto install upon download.

    To start the software, double click on the CAN8 icon that was created by the installation program on your desktop. To login to the program, type in the username and password that your instructor assigned. Then click on Login.

    System Requirements
    This software is not available for Mac platforms at this time. The software will run on the Windows 95/98, Windows NT, Windows XP or Windows Vista operating systems. CAN8 only support 32 bit operating system and will not work on 64 bit operating system. To run the software you will need a machine with a sound card that can both play and record sound. You will also need either speakers and a microphone or a headset.
